No one wants a relationship to end the moment it begins. We have all been in such situations before, whether we be the best or the worst people in the world.

Only time defines the nature of a relationship and especially of the people in it.

Of course, as with everything, there are ups and downs. Many of us often forget that just because we share values doesn’t mean we can afford anything. Everyone has their limits, and it is up to each of us to understand them to avoid any separation.

I wanted to share the story of two young women who have known each other since they were two and a half years old; they are now thirty-four. They shared many years of friendship until life separated them for a decade. After their reunion, they became close again, and wonderfully their relationship had not aged a single day until one wanted to do a favor for the other. Third parties caused a terrible disturbance between the two young women. Unfortunately, being at a distance and given the circumstances, the one who suffered the humiliation preferred to move away and not give any more news. Of course, this shocked the other as she felt she had done nothing wrong. Note that there was another problem a few weeks before.

It demonstrates how necessary it is to be on the same wavelength. Taking the time to get to know a person is life’s work. Indeed, we are never safe from mismanaged conflicts because our egos can affect any relationship.

Some say we should strike while the iron is hot, and others will say that water will eventually flow under the bridge. Whatever the case, everyone will have their method of resolving a friendly dispute as long as it pleases both parties.

This text is for people in friendly relationships.
